Transfer Market Heats up ! Midfield Maestro Shrestha Joins Satdobato

Kathmandu, Nepal: Former Nepal national team midfielder Jagajeet Shrestha has officially joined Satdobato Youth Club ahead of the upcoming ANFA National League 2026, strengthening the club’s midfield options for the new season. Club's official facebook page has announced it on 5th December.

Jagajeet Shrestha, who was recently playing in the Australian semi professional league, returns to Nepalese football after voicing concerns over the lack of regular football activities in the country. His move to Satdobato Youth Club gives him the opportunity to compete in a major domestic tournament and reconnect with football in his homeland.

Known as a creative and magical midfielder, Jagajeet possesses exceptional crossing accuracy, vision, and through-ball ability, making him a valuable asset in attacking transitions. His experience at the international level is expected to bring leadership and composure to Satdobato’s midfield during the ANFA National League campaign.

Before moving back abroad, Jagajeet Shrestha had played top-division league football for Tribhuvan Army Club, where he built a reputation as a technically gifted midfielder. His exposure to both domestic and overseas leagues is expected to benefit Satdobato Youth Club significantly.

The signing of Jagajeet Shrestha reflects Satdobato Youth Club’s ambition to challenge strongly in the ANFA National League, while fans will be eager to see the former national team star perform once again on Nepalese soil.
