Nepal Invited to Four-Nation Invitational Football Tournament 2026 in Maldives

The Nepal Men’s National Football Team has received an official invitation to participate in the Four-Nation Invitational Football Tournament 2026, scheduled to take place in the Maldives during June–July 2026. The tournament will feature four South Asian teams and is expected to play a crucial role in preparations for the SAFF Championship 2026.

Celebrating 75 Years of Maldivian Football

The tournament is being organized by the Maldives Football Association (MFA) as part of the celebration of 75 years of football in the Maldives. To mark this historic milestone, the MFA has invited competitive regional sides to ensure a high-quality international football event.

So far, the following teams have been confirmed for the tournament:

2. Nepal

3. Bangladesh

4. Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has already confirmed its participation alongside the hosts Maldives, while Nepal and Bangladesh are among the invited teams expected to add competitiveness and regional rivalry to the tournament.
